a. Verbal Consent
Verbal consent is obtained during documented phone calls or virtual meetings where the recipient affirmatively agrees to receive SMS messages fromGamut. Prior to obtaining consent, Gamut will read an approved verbal disclosure script outlining the purpose of the SMS program, the types of messages to be sent, that message frequency may vary, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out. The recipient must clearly and verbally agree to these terms and conditions. Verbal consent is recorded or otherwise documented, where legally permitted, and logged in Gamut’s internal systems for compliance, auditing, and record keeping purposes.
b. Implied Consent
Established when an individual:
- Initiates contact with Gamut via SMS
Implied consent is used solely for transactional or service-related messages and does not apply to transactional messaging unless additional express consent is obtained. A double opt-in process will be used, under which the recipient must reply “START” to confirm consent and initiate SMS messaging.

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages, except for a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request, where required by law. Please note that opting out may limit our ability to send time-sensitive service notifications.
